Using Chrome's inspect element

Let's start by inspecting the code on this page. Right click anywhere on this page and select "Inspect" from the list of options that appears. A dock with appear on the right of the page by default. I recommend clicking the three option dots next to the "x" in the top right of that panel. Where it says "Dock side," select the first option. This will pop the dock out as a separate window, giving your browser window a little more space. It's a personal preference. So up to you.

You won't need console for now (that's javascript), so you can "x" that at the bottom if you'd like for more space. Depending on the width of your window, the layout for the inspect tool may look different. Widen it so you can get it to look like this on the right-side of it:

You should see the "styles" and "computed" tabs on the far right as tabs. For now, we are only looking at HTML on the left listed as "Elements". The Styles and Computed tabs will be helpful for us when we move into CSS, but you can ignore it for now. Just focus on the left:

The movie Alien came out in 1979, starring a young Sigourney Weaver. The Alien and its accompanying artifacts were designed by the Swiss artist H. R. Giger.

Alien is more a classic horror movie than compared to its follow-up popular Aliens.This movie was directed by relatively unknown at the time, Ridley Scott. It was regarded first as a classic "B movie" horror. However, as it gained in popularity, James Cameron took on the helm to direct Aliens, the more action focused sequel.
